LOL you baseball nerds... Only baseball fans could turn a Mauer interview into a "Who's better? Ichiro or Mauer? As of right now, Mauer is better statistically, If you can even compare a Catcher to a RF. If you asked a GM of any team who they wanted it would be Mauer. What he does as a catcher is borderline legendary, and he is way more valuable at his position then Ichiro is.

No knock against Ichiro though, He's one of the Mlb's best hitters, and is a tremendous rightfielder with a cannon of an arm. But in this stage, your a fool if you pick Ichiro over Mauer, Ichiro is getting up there in age, and Mauer is just now hitting his prime. No Question who the better player is RIGHT NOW.
