Lots of speculation in this thread. Developers are always shifting around in the game industry and it's no so uncommon for developers to go to a competitors side. I would be very worried if a lead game play or engine programmer left than a designer. Now I wouldn't worry about Live 15 at this stage; features, mechanics, and other things have been locked in(or sure as hell should be by this stage in the development) and are just receiving polish before launch.
