Some guys averaged 18 and 19 yds per catch. Not a single player in Madden's top 10 averaged over 14, and some years, no one over 13. That's a pretty big difference. I just find it disheartening that everyone is so happy about these new numbers because the bar for accuate stats was set so low with the previous sim stats. These are still by far the worst sim numbers of any of the 4 major sports games, by a pretty big margin. And there's a lot of other innacuracies in the sim numbers across the board, but I haven't really looked at everything in depth, and the innacurate passing and receiving stats are the two that stand out the most to me. I'm not trying to nitpick for the sake of nitpicking, but these are still not good sim numbers just because the previous ones were so bad. They're just not.

I clearly said top 10 by receptions. If you believe the stats to be deal breaking, fair enough. I don't see them as outside the realm of reality.
