NBA 2k15 MyCareer Not Connecting (XB1)

Once I create a MyPlayer and attempt to start a MyCareer, I get an error message saying that the game cannot connect to 2K servers. Also, I was testing various menu options requiring a 2K server connection, and when I clicked MyPlayer Store > MyGM, I get an error message saying that there is an issue connecting to the servers and I get an error code: a9b8022b. Checked nba2k.com/status and it says All Online Services Functional for the XBOX One, which is obviously bull****. I know other people are having server issues, so is the only thing to do wait until tomorrow?
