I've been working hard and the time is finally here, at least for Phase I...

This editor was created for use with ESPN 2K4 football similar to the one we have for NFL 2K5 from Finn.

This is the first release so there may be bugs. If you find any please post here and I will do my best to correct any issues found.

The editor allows works very similar to the 2K5 editor, but doesn't have many options including the following:

1. Names can only be edited to match the original names length.
2. Franchise options are not available, only Roster.
3. PS2 works fine, but to get the XBOX to load correctly you will need to read the FAQ's in the help file.
4. I think if you change a kicker or punter to another position like qb, the attributes won't work right like in 2k5. I didn't code for this yet.

I'd love to see what we can create from this editor to make 2K4 enjoyable again. It will feel like a fresh game compared to 2K5.

NOTE: If a menu item doesn't do anything when clicking, it just means I haven't coded it yet.

1. Fixed an issue with Playbooks and Options not working correctly.
2. Fixed an issue when trying to load a player with greater than 99 attributes when Large Attributes setting is turned off.

1. New unlocked Challengers team. No playbook as I'm not sure where they are in the game save. (Find by navigating only. No right-click menu yet.) The other historic teams are in the editor, but just not organized into a team slot yet. This will come soon.
2. New Export to Xbox or PS2 option. (Located on Toolbar as icons.)
3. Fixed issue where default team was not loading correctly.
4. Fixed issue with Searching and loading playbooks.
5. Disabled Options which were not coded yet.

1. Added ability to edit Player names without locking them down to original length.

1. Fixed issue when exporting from one console to another. It was not putting players in the correct spots.

1. New Coach Editor added to with the ability to edit names, bodies, audio and photos. There is a "Ratings" tab in the Coach edito that is enabled, but doesn't do anything... FYI.
2. Colleges were added to the Player editor which was a major pain, but worth the effort in the end.
3. Added Team Jerseys to change the default jerseys for any given team.

EDIT: 12/04/14 - (v1.0.7.1)
1. Fixed issue where Team Jerseys were not saving correctly.
2. Fixed issue with Coach section when editing/exporting PS2 files.
3. Misc GUI cleanup.

EDIT: 12/07/14 - (v1.0.7.2)
1. Fixed issue with Jersey's not saving correctly on PS2. The offset was off by one when I converted XBOX to PS2 offsets.

EDIT: 12/21/14 - (v1.0.8.0)
1. Added missing Player Number to header of player editor.
2. Switch around Body Type Large with X-Large because the game has them backwards. This fixes auto update by Weight and Height and BMI.

1. Added ability to advance year.
2. Added functionality to clear stats.
3. Fixed crash issue when attempting to load more than one roster file at a time.
4. The editor now runs on a 32 bit PC , in addition to the previous 64 bit version, which was missing from the installation files.

1. Added ability to change any position to/from Punter or Kicker while maintaining correct kick attributes.

1. Added ability to search by "Last Name Only" checkbox.
2. Fixed issue when saving "Last Name Only" checkbox on Player Editor form.
3. Added "Last Name Only" column to Main grids.
4. Added ability to globally edit players by "Last Name Only". To do this you must select all columns as usual and set type to "Equal" and enter a 0 in the value field to enable the Update button. This will not update any attribute values, but will allow you to set the "Last Name Only" field by itself without editing any other ratings.
