L1? what is L1 for in PES with the ball? I thought that was for lob through balls or one twos really only button

I didn't realize L1 did anything while with the ball. I thought R2 is slow dribble or close control and also used for trapping settling the ball.. maybe I'm getting these confused since the FIFA controls are different
