And it was the first time it had happened in real life in how many decades? Putting a ton of resources and effort into something that rarely ever happens in real life just doesn't make sense. There is a certain point where "customization" stops intersecting with "realistic" and I don't think they're wrong to avoid pouring resources into this specific feature for that reason.
Now I'm sure this will be a focus at some point in the future, and I know that "relocation" also encompasses new stadiums which ARE very realistic and happen a lot more often than teams changing cities and/or names. I get that. I'm just talking about prioritizing and I think they're doing a pretty good job there.
