Against a really good Maia player and a player that will look to take you down and blanket you (like Cee will lol), that's definitely a good option. That way you kinda have help defending the subs. Other than that you gotta stay off the ground and make sure to pick a guy with high submission defense stats. What you really need to watch out for with Maia though is him getting your back and going for that rnc more than anything.
