NBA Live 06 Cover Boy and Screenshots (Xbox)

We have just posted a press release announcing the cover boy of NBA Live 06, Dwayne Wade. We've included some screenshots as well.
"Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) announced today that NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade will serve as cover athlete and spokesman for NBA LIVE 06, scheduled for release this fall under the EA SPORTS™ brand. Wade is in his second season with the Miami HEAT, where he set single-season franchise records for points per game (24.1) and total points scored (1,854) in helping to lead the HEAT to the top seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs."

First Mello, now D-Wade, will Lebron be like Jordan, where the best player in the league doesn't grace the cover of LIVE?

Lebron is the best player in the league? I think he need to play defense [outside of just steals] before we can give him that title.

They have pics on IGN which are pretty nice looking. However, thought I'm impressed now, I usually am let down when the gameplay is put out. We'll see how it goes though. Good pick definitely. For picks, just go to the IGN homepage and check it out or go here.

The key thing that I notice is the real-life collisions in the paint which is going to make me wonder how well more in depth the post will be this year. 2K sure did a nice job with it, but some of the animations could have been improved upon definitely. I think I'll be definitely getting two games now. We'll just cross our fingers for another few great basketball games. Oh, I just can't wait til E3

Just realized that it was XBOX screenshots which might be positive or negative. I'm sure they're still using the PS2 and porting from there. If only....

These photos are mediocre....yes the faces are more detailed, compared to previous live games. The jersey and accessories look more detailed....but EA is still not improving on one thing. The fact that the player models are still disproportioned....body's are just jacked up and look stupid. The whole no wastline having no hips or nothing. No wonder they slide across the floor and spin at extremely speeds...lol

Really need to fix the body's, no sense in putting all that talent into other graphic details if your not going to improve the actual models of the bodys.....
