Why do some people defend consumer products that they gain nor lose anything from its success/failure. I wonder how many housewives argue which refrigerator is better Maytag or GE?

I was sold on the PS3 before the teaser ads, but that's not to say I'm a PS3 fanboy. D'oh well, glad I made the cut for the article.
