Re: Wednesday Morning Other Stuff (3-5-08)

I keep forgetting the Morning Other Stuff is in the OS Neighborhood.

I'm seeing a lot of Marino's on the list. There should be a rule that you CAN'T be considered the best if you didn't win a title. I'm sorry but that should be a rule.

QOTD: I had a three hour instant message conversation with my father on this very subject about a week ago. We broke it down and came to the conclusion that the Top 5 are:
1 - Montana
2 - Unitas
3 - Favre
4 - Elway
5 - Staubach

To be considered you must be retired (No Brady or Manning, yet). My father pushed for Namath because of his impact - one of the most popular quarterbacks ever that really elevated the position in the eyes of fans but if you look at his numbers they are not very impressive. Still, winning that Super Bowl as such big underdogs was and is pretty special.

Re: Wednesday Morning Other Stuff (3-5-08)

I think I'll be picking up a copy of MLB: The Show for my PS3. I'm not a big baseball fan, but the game looks to good to miss.

I'm also disappointed to see Favre retire, and I thought he would come back for another season.

QOTD:
Jay Barker, Favre, Aikman, Elway, and Montana.

The 5 qb's above are my favs. not who I think is the best.

Can I do the Lions top 5 QB's (of my life)? No, oh ok.

Erik Kramer, Rodney Peete, Chaz Batch, Bob Gagliano, uh, uh, uh, Chuck Long?, Mike McMahon? Joey Herrington? Jon "Picked again" Kitna? uh uh uh Scott Mitchell, can't go wrong with 4,000 yards baby.

Nothing much is up with me. Just here at work. My 360 was shipped back to me last night, but because I was not at home and they needed a signature from me, they couldn't leave it. Which I don't mind because I don't want my 360 laying on my front porch all day. I tried to pick it up at the the Fed Ex place, but I went to vote when I got off and by the time I got there it was closed. Oh well, I waited this long another day will not kill me.

Baylor and A&M play tonight, huge game for both teams..If Baylor wins tonight and vs Tech on Saturday they would finish third in the Big 12 and that is a remarkable turnaround from all the stuff that happened to this program a few years ago. They should be able to get into the Big dance with winning one out of their last two, but I would like to see them beat A&M instead of Tech if they are only going to win one. A&M has Kansas next and if they lose the next two, they will not be heading to the big dance.

next two games on my radar, RB6 Vegas 2 and GTA. No baseball game for me this year.
Excellent quoting, Dook.
