It doesn't look that fast to me, then again it didn't really show much game footage. But there should be a normal and a fast play option.

**Edit**
The part in the preview where it says games take around 15 mins has me slightly worried. I'd prefer a little slower pace & batter step out's/step in's after each pitch. Maybe they can make it an option in "Front Office Manager 2010".

Not going to lie, it looks awesome.

I'm fine with the quick games for the most part, I'm more interested in doing all the other little things more so than actually watching the games. Back in my MVP owner mode days I'd even sometimes sim full seasons without ever playing a game.

It looks like everything I have been looking for in a baseball game. I love OOTP, but the graphical representation yielded in the Front Page Sports titles added immeasurable immersion for me.

The deal makers/breakers will be -

1) Trade Logic
2) Good Statistical Realism (particularly K/9 and BB/9 ratios along with AVG, HRs)

I'll absolutely buy it as soon as it comes out. How much it lives up to expectations will determine if I give any future releases a chance.

Re: MLB Front Office Manager Developer Diary Video #1

Another question which is on my mind, particularly because they consulted Billy Beane...

Will there be advantages to using "Money Ball logic" to scout amateurs? For instance, focusing on college players with statistics which are fairly reliable to project, versus high school players with potentially more upside but a lot more unknowns.

Will minor leaguers have realistic development clues in their statistics? For instance, a minor league pitcher with a high K/9 rate should be watched closely.

If they are truly shooting for the stat/sim crowd, I feel these types of things should be in the model.
