Hey, EA and Best Buy lay out the cash and prizes. Blame them, not the players. If you look at it, it's probably well worth it for them with all the publicity they get for sponsoring this tournament.

That said, it is a shame that someone is walking away with so much by exploiting bugs and glitches that can't be stopped 99 times out of 100. Thankfully, I think it's an all-or-nothing type tournament. If you're not the last man standing, I don't think you win anything. We can take some solace in that.

I find it interesting that IAN has yet to reply in this thread.
But anywho ,it should be a crime to get paid 25,000 for cheating . That's what these clowns are doing . THEY ARE CHEATING. How come EA doesn't see that?
Sickens me that the Superbowl is coming up and there's no good current NFL Game to play...
Thank God for All-Pro Football though. :-)

I just find it amazing that EA can get so much positive publicity over the bugs in their progamming and nothing negative coming from it. I need to find a way to set up a deal like this with my computer science professors, it would remove any need to debug my projects.

Ian, concentrate on the OFFLINE FRANCHISE, please!
This article is why I NEVER play online. Bunch of gangsta wannabes thinking they can be a real NFL Head Coach.Pathetic.
And they get paid more in one day than most of us real American workers.
And real athletes actually seem proud they're represented by these idiots.
And on and on.....

Re: Madden Challenge 2009: Crowning the World's Best Madden Player

I dont want to be negative, or attack the devs. I don't mean to insult them, or to belittle them in away way. By posting these comments my only goal is to bring about a postive change, with constructive criticism.

THIS HAS TO STOP!

This is not football. Not even close guys. When the FS jumps into the air to deflect the pass and is able to mysteriously go the opposite direction (in mid-air) and lay the biggest hit on my WR in football history-causing the ball to be dropped is...is..just worng.

When I throw the football and my WR jumps to catch the ball perfectly no matter how off my timing was when I hit the catch botton is just unreal. I have hit the catch button and my WR refused to even attempt to catch the football.

I just, can't understand how playing this way is anything but totally upsetting.
