He mentions being able to "still adjust all those different things in your franchise mode, as part of our owner mode" in reference to the person's questions about adjusting food prices, merchandise prices, etc.

I don't remember ever being able to do this in Madden 09 like the person asking the question and Phil both say. He also mentions owner mode a few times as if it were in the past tense. Do you think he's referring to the PS2 version of the game, since to my knowledge there was no owner mode in Madden 09?

Well Iread the franchise question. From what I get in the franchise question is that the owner part of it is back in madden 10. But thing is phil said the owner mode was not focused on to much this year which to me is kind of disappointing. But so long as we get a owner mode that was good as madden 07 ps2 verison was hen I will be happy. But like I said owner does not have to be great just decent.

The way it sounds to me, it's as if Phil was referring to owner mode as already being in Madden 09 and that we'd still be able to do those things in Madden 10 and that they haven't changed it from 09 to 10. But again, as far as I know there is no owner mode in 09 so if we're getting the same in 10 as we had in 09, doesn't look too promising.
