I agree, but also hope EA is able to capture the "organic" goaltending that the 2K games featured. I would love to see a composure meter make it's way into the game, allowing you to rattle a goalie. There just has not been a solid variety of goals in 08 or 09, and I feel like you have to learn the games programming to successfully beat the goalie on a regular basis.

Watch the playoffs and see how many different types of goals are scored- deflections, wraparounds, skill goals, point writers, hard slappers, etc. I want to see that type of variety in 10, plus all the board play and rough stuff.

Now, now, don't be upset because your team lost to the Canes.

haha, just kidding- I was upset with you guys this year because I was itching to see Detroit play the Bruins in the finals- that would have been a heck of a series.

LOL. No offense taken. But I have to agree with Bumble14 that my homerism kicked in when I didn't see one shot of a Wings player.
But I got over it quickly. . I'm more of an NHL fan than I am a Wings fan anyway. Don't get me wrong, I want the Wings to win every year, but I'll watch more non-Wings games in a season. I just enjoy watching the various stars across the league do their thing.

My only complaint about the trailer was they didn't show any of the new passing mechanisms. But I understand that's very hard to do in a 10 second trailer.

True, it looks like the desperation saves are still in, but hopefully they will be better utilized by NHL 10's release.

Last year, people were worried the one handed deke would turn breakaways into a joke. They were mistaken. I would expect the same of the leg lift and shooting from the knees.

I don't see that. At 0:31 you can see the (Hawks) towels clearly.
