That's one thing 2k is good at, the details that make each arena different. They do a great job in nba 2k. They also do a great job with signature styles.

Yep, if they do that with the hockey, the players should come alive more. I loved all the little things 2k9 had. I have feeling 2k10 will have just as much or more. Man, I want to play this game now! I hate videos games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I agree. I think that 2k10 will have them beat in the presentation part. But player models will probably be EA's. I think both are going to step it up the gameplay factor. So should be fun to see these two go head to head! Animation I don't know!

2K: You know, it's interesting, I think there's definitely that sort of aspect but at the same time we also felt like we were kind of going back to the roots to try to bring back some of the realistic, sim-style hockey. We wanted to make the game something that's definitely accessible to people -- something you can sit down and play with your buddies, but at the same time I think it also plays a really good game of hockey this year. We've done a ton of work just trying to make the game look better, play better, feel better. We've done a ton of animations to improve the skating engine, to improve the goalies, to improve stick-handling and to improve the controls in general.

That depends if the commentary is better, if its once again the same 6 year old script with a weak delivery it kinda hurts the presentation just a bit, I also hope the'res actual replays of shots/goals/saves during stoppages this year. I actually really liked the replays in 2k8, hope they bring something like that back. The player models are alot closer to EA's this year, I still think EA's goalies look better and EA's faces look a tad more detailed, but they've finally narrowed the gap a bit which is very welcomed.
