Well it is their year for an arcade basketball title (though i don't know if midway even makes them anymore)

Also, maybe its not coming to PS3/360 because those consoles are getting a new NBA Street and they decided to give the Wii NBA Jam instead of a weak Street port.

typo- the wii has an install base that exceeds 50 million users. Considering the fact that wii gamers enjoy accessible, pick up and play, sports titles. The wii is the perfect system to relaunch the NBA Jam franchise. I guarantee this will be one of the biggest selling games of 2010. Also, I strongly disagree that EA should market this game to the gamers who played the original NBA Jam. Chances are, this game will not offer any new features and will be a rehash of the existing Jam. Why would ps3/360 gamers purchase the same old game, when they didn't even support Madden arcade. Good move for EA.

Simple: Madden Arcade isn't a classic game; NBA Jam is.

And people would obviously buy it for the chance to play online, which is something we haven't been able to do since the days of Xband.

Seriously, who wants to play such a shallow game? Whether it's with gimmicky motion controls or in HD for a small price distributed digitally, it would suck.

It would really have to massively expand on what they were doing with NBA Street for it to be worthwhile.

And I was so looking forward to a proper next-gen SSX...

ahhh, i will def buy this for the wii if i hav eto. but please come to xbox 360 marketplace..

would be awesome if they included the old school rosters, as well as the new updated rosters.

im so over nba2k and live having flaws here and there.. give me some good old arcade basketball!!

how about him being a piston fan and coding the bulls to throw up bricks at the end of close games!! hahahahahaha
