Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10

Get rich quick, with Major League Baseball 2K10. Check the story from Jon Robinson at ESPN.

Quote:
"And the rules are simple: 2K Sports is going to give the million bucks to the first person who can throw a perfect game against the CPU on All-Star difficulty starting March 2, 2010 at 12:01 AM PST and ending May 2, 2010 at 11:59 PM PDT. Eligible games can only be played on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in MLB Today mode playing one of the available match-ups. Then, when gamers choose to play the Major League Baseball 2K10 contest from the menu, the game will automatically default to the proper gameplay setting in accordance to the official rules."
Platform: Xbox 360 / PS3

Re: ESPN: Win a million dollars playing MLB 2K10!

It'll be done within an hour of release. Someone will edit the opposing teams stats, sliders, keep it on All-Star and get it. Cool idea, but it should be a pool of everyone who does it for say a month or something.

Kudos to 2K, but this is all about trying to sell the game period, and I don't blame them. They need to market the game the best they can and judging by the new trailer it looks good.

I highly doubt it will be that easy when $1 mil is involved. They will be monitoring it on lockdown.

Some funny marketing though.

Wouldn't the fact that it must be played via the MLB Today feature eliminate this possibility?

Granted I don't know the ins and outs of the MLB Today feature, so it could very well be possible to manipulate the system.

Whats funny about it? Sounds pretty sweet to me.

Would be cool if a fellow OS'er won the contest.

Damn, pay me 25% of that and I'll put check swings in the game.

You could still alter sliders at least. Not sure if rosters can be.

I'm still betting anything it's accomplished the first day.

EDIT - nevermind, just read that it's in the menu and defaults to special settings for it. My bad (reading usually helps. LOL).

Still it's done first day.
