To some extent, you're right. A 20 year career would make infinitely more sense. But I'm just pointing out that it SHOULDN'T be that easy to break a record that will possibly hold for decades once A-Rod is out of the game.

Not the average hall-of-famer's career though, which is supposedly the primary goal in this mode. So in that sense, the "average" career doesn't matter as the point of the mode is to be more than that.

Still, while I think 15 years is indeed too short, it's important to remember this is the is the first year of the mode and it seems to be quite deep overall. The user seems to get a good deal of options both on and off the field here.

I'd rather have 15 years of a great experience than 25 years of a poor one.

The homerun King(true)...never hit 50 homeruns in one season...heck...he hit 45 in a season only once!......played 23 years and his 162 game average was 37 homers.

I think you guys are going border line between The greatest ever to play the game or making the Hall of Fame. Yeah 15 years is short, but you could still do damage, Hall of fame isnt always Individual glory IMO .. It will be interesting to see us post our careers and stats. I think it will be interesting

It will be really interesting to see what people's stats will be at the end of 15 years. I hoped it would have been longer though.

being able to sim games makes the mode even better. i do wish that you cant be traded or change position just because you wanted to. maybe they can add more to those features next year.

me going as a Short stop to the yankees for jeter wouldnt happen, but i think the game will let it..
