Yes...play through numerous times. To get several of these achievements you'll need to play RTTS as a Pitcher and a Catcher. Can't really do that as the same player...

Regardless, it's not worth arguing over.....

My comment was made, because it is a sports game, playing through numerous times is what is done naturally.

These are a LOT better than last year. No more "win a league" and the perfect game ones were annoying. (Though who knows what the ??? ones are).

But why do they keep creating the trophies based on the "new" features? All the homerun ones are supposed to promote the homerun derby no doubt. It says any mode to do things like hit it in McCovey Cove...but the only way you'll get some of those is to do homerun derby at those specific stadiums.

Overall, besides the triple play, I think this one is much more likely to be platinumed than last year.

Haha yeah... some of these are ridiculous, but I don't care. I went platinum last year and I plan on doing it again this year.
