Looking fwd to this installment, but, man, what is it with 2K and having to flash and pop the lights and colors all over the place like a bad acid trip??

2K Sports does such a great job with presentation, including this commentary that is truly breaking new ground. Sometimes we think to improve commentary there needs to be more words being said, but 2K showed some creativity here. With NBA and now MLB, they have introduced some dynamics that aren't just more things being said but meaningful things.

Another excellent job in the commentary is the interruption sequences. In that Cubs Franchise video, around the 5:25-5:33 mark Phillips goes to add some starting with, "Wel..if." What happens is the batter hits the bal (not a homerun but a hit) and Thorne calls it. It all happens very naturally.

Very nicely done.

Is Tuesday yet?

I am loving that commentary and the gameplay looks really improved. These videos looks solid and kudos to VC on getting this game back on track.

I really like the player models and the stadiums do truly look immersive when you factor in the lighting too.

commentary is amazing. it looks like 2K has focused on nailing presentation (just like 2k did with nba)

game looks fun too. I love actually being able to see the follow thru when contact is made.. it looks good.
