Re: NBA Elite 11 First Look (Gameinformer)

I still have a big concern about shooting. Is it somewhat rating related? I mean I won't hit threes with Shaq just because I timed it right, correct? I'm hoping it is sort of like 2Ks. And for those wondering about passing, I'm assuming it will be like NHL 10 with the right trigger.

I'm still really skeptical of what I'm hearing, and will definitely need to see some videos. But daaaamn look at what we can do here.

The camera angle can be changed along with the controls. Therefore everyone will be ok

The players will still be rated. It's just that your own stick skill becomes more of a factor.

i.e. Kobe will have a larger sweet spot for hitting a three, whereas Shaq will have a tiny sweet spot.

At least that is how I understand it.

What do you mean by this? Are you saying if I switch the cam to the broadcast/side view the shot stick is now to the right or left instead of up? Or can we leave the shot stick up while playing at other angles?

I also heard that if a defender is in your face your sweet spot for shooting shrinks a bit. But some players actually shoot better with someone in their face. This will be complicated to program it seems.

This is big imo. Does my contest actually matter?
