Re: REAL AI in NBA ELITE 11

Thanks for the update blackflash off to watch. Sounds like a good idea will give the players actual tendencies and moves they actually use.

2K had this type of thing in there game last year so its nice to see that it will be in Elite too. This should add a lot to the authenticity of the game.

Maybe it'll correct those stupid behaviors like Bynum shooting fadeaways or Brook Lopez doing a euro step (two things I saw a lot last year).

Now that's a good video, can't wait to see some good 5 on 5, using the A.I.

Good to get some real NBA player input and feedback.

Re: REAL AI in NBA ELITE 11

The AI stuff sounds good. Anything that helps players play like their real-life counterparts is a good thing; however, (and I hate to be "that guy" but I feel I must mention this) what were your thoughts about the two dunks at about the 1:10 mark and the defenders reaction when Durant drove past him and dunked it?

This is all still work in progress, but we're coming up on the release of the demo and the release date for the full game will be here before too much longer. I'm not going to hit the panic button or anything, but I'll be keeping a watchful eye on upcoming videos to see if these types of things start happening less frequently.

You can't judge a game from 3 clips, but quite frankly, that was a little bit discouraging. Those are the types of plays (especially the two dunks) that I thought real-time physics were supposed to prevent.

Thats nice to hear about the a.i and stuff, but the dunks look so unrealistic. I'm talking particularly about the one where he bumps the guy and is still able to go up full force ....

Re: REAL AI in NBA ELITE 11

I don't really get how this works?

So will I see Durant try to pull off the same recorded sequence every game?

Sounds alright, I'm just not sure how it works
