What's the estimated cost of the engine?

There doesn't appear to be a flat fee, costs are negotiated for each title most likely.

Euphoria as Backbreaker demonstrated isn't an out of the box solution though even highly customized, it has to be used hand in hand with other physics and behavioral engines to achieve the desired result. That's why you see things like Havok also used in Grand Theft Auto in conjunction with their in-house physics solution and Euphoria. Only using Euphoria is why there's no fabric in Backbreaker, it doesn't model that kind of behavior.

As a result, it's much more likely other companies will use their resources to develop an in-house solution to meet their needs and only license Euphoria to help with some of the behavioral animation like Rockstar has done in mutiple games now.

After what I've seen from videos, I'm not very excited about the NCAA demo. I don't need to play the demo to know what I'm getting with that game: same old EA engine slighted tweaked for the umpteenth time.

I'm much more excited to see what a NEW football game has to offer.
What NM is offering is a football game with the actual football removed...yours for only $15!

Unbelievably dumb marketing decision.

Passing on this one, getting tired of the tackle ally games. $15.00 seems a little steep anyway.

If it was cheaper I'd get it, but $15 is too much for what little this game has to offer.
I'll just stick with Tackle Alley in the BB I already have if I need a TA fix.

I won't rule out an impulse purchase, but the next time I turn on my 360 it will probably be to download the NCAA demo, giving me plenty to do. I have BB1/Android app/Vengeance on iPad to scratch this itch still.

Also the camera wasnt "unplayable" it was realistic and IMO better than God Camera which is garbage for a sim.
You are more then welcome to your opinion, but you are in the minority. Forcing people to use this camera was one of there biggest downfalls. If not the biggest IMO.

I like the idea of a closer camera then Madden, but NM went way to far post snap. The spinning camera was the absolute worst part.

Agree with the others, this game had so much potential. It didn't make sense to make a sim engine and then create a arcade game....

They have stated on their facebook page that their arcade games and their full fledged games are separate entities. This game has nothing to do with the future of BackBreaker.
