wow... not sure really what to think. There is no women in the nhl. I wonder if this will happen in other sports titles.

Are you sure?

I'm pretty sure Julie "The Cat" Gaffney plays for Anaheim:

Looking forward to this feature!

Intriguing.

There have been one or two women who've played pre-season games in the NHL. It's not happened in any other sport at the pro level* (there have been one or two female kickers in College Football history).

Also, This might cause a somewhat mixed reaction on the forums#.

*This ignores the handful of women who played pro baseball in the Negro leagues in the early 20th century.

#This is likely an understatement

Eh doesn't bother me, though it prolly should. I have no quams with letting girls play sports. Though I'm pretty sure the EASHL is going to be full of Blonde Bill Cosbyesque types with awesome names like Destroyer112 and the like. Swear the online communities when it comes to sports titles, or really MP in general tends to bring out the bottom of the barrel more often than not.

Re: NHL 12 - Female Be a Pro

Did anyone notice the more important part of this video? There is an option that says "Head Type" and the option shown is "Generic Head". It is greyed out when on the female player type, but is available as an option when Male is selected. Does this mean there is the option to create a custom face or better yet use the EA Gameface from the website? If that is the case...IT IS ABOUT TIME.

If not, carry on...

Oh yeah, I dont care about female faces as long as they aren't overused.
