I try to know at least two routes that I call and if both are covered I panic.

Re: Madden: How do you call your passing game?

I run set of concepts out of as many formations as I possibly can. I can pretty much run 8-9 of my concepts out of every single formation in the Green Bay book in some form or the other so it gives the illusion of unending diversity while still maintaining a structured attack.

Utilizing the Air Raid in Madden

Now while that sort of takes my offense to the extreme (i.e. no set running concepts) I do run the inside/outside zone combo out of the formations that let me do that.

Short passes, quick reads with the occassional shot downfield. You just need three and a half yards a play.

Re: Madden: How do you call your passing game?

I remember the NFL laughing at Steve Spurriers approach to the pass offense. Now its more feasible in Madden and irl. Spurrier just never had the right players, qb, Wrs, etc to be successful with the Skins.
My approach in Madden has worked very well for me for years now and its working better than ever now. The RunNGun baby! Especially now with RG3 being behind center, WATCH OUT haters, here I come!

Same as me
