NHL 13 Video - How Facial Scan Technology Works


If you're interested to see how facial scans are done in NHL 13, make sure you check out the video. They use 18 DSLR cameras, using high-res digital photos, stitching them all together and popping them into the game.

i hope we can also use our face in the C-A-P that would be cool. i remember in previous years they were able to do this but wondering why they remove it.

So they can introduce it as a new feature again a couple years down the road.

You were never able to put your own face in the game in the NHL series.

I think you could in the PC version way back when. Could be wrong though as I never used the feature.

I remember something like that on NHL2000, but I also remember a mod or something for NHL2003 where you could do that. lol, I'll never forget that Ed Belfour blob face(it had to be a blob for it to actually work in the game)
