The Postseason commentary was missing in action. Asked how it differs from regular-season commentary, Russell said, "We tried to do more conversational pieces." The guys in the broadcast booth — Matt Vasgersian, Eric Karros and Steve Lyons, who has replaced Dave Campbell — won't just focus on the play-by-play; they'll weave in larger stories about the players and teams involved, according to Russell. A promising element of Postseason hinges on the most passionate members of the MLB The Show community. The mode isn't limited to the 30 current MLB teams; it also lets you bring in created teams for any of those clubs.

It is really impressive, they did an excellent job of making the postseason feel different and special. I did not venture too deep into it at the event because I wanted to be surprised when I get the finished game.

That makes sense! The one thing that I am burning to know is if we get the full national anthems or just the end. To get the full thing would be incredible.

I saw the flag blowing on the jumbotron but did not hear any song, so I am not sure what we are actually getting there.

I honestly cannot stress enough to all of the devs.... to everyone, how much more joy and excitement I am going to have actually playing through the entire regular season in Franchise (im going to be playing every game now) and actually having something special to look forward to in October.

This postseason package thing.... my god ...sounds tasty
