Very interested to see these ratings, as mine are along similar lines.... apart from defence, which I don't think I will ever be able to nail down.

I have my Excel worksheet set up so that 99 is the highest number but I notice you mention that you have higher figures in your spreadsheet.

My ratings are based on a 3yr weighted average and I was wondering if it would be sensible to leave my ratings raw eg. 82/108/85 and work out the average based on these, rather than 82/99/85 which I do at the moment?

Do you people watch baseball at all? How is Votto not a 99 but Pujols is? What was Pujols BA last year? .285? What was Votto's? Oh yeah .337. How about OBP? Votto lead the leauge with .474. Pujols? .343. He barely got on base as well as Votto hit. Votto's WAR was a win higher, and he missed 50 games. Idiots.

The ratings aren't based off of just last year. Pujols has been doing it better and longer than Votto.

Then how is Trout rated a 99? He only has one year.

Votto isn't exactly newly kicking ***. He was the MVP in 2010 over Pujols and had better stats than he did in 2011. That's three years in a row he's been better than Pujols.

Nice. Hopefully they can adjust his rating in the first roster update... maybe to, I don't know, around a 93? He did miss 50 games after all, so his durability is probably too high...

Yeah, he's the first superstar to ever get injured. Yet he still leads the world in OBP.
