Madden NFL 25 Blog - How to Run Free

EA Sports has posted this Madden NFL 25 blog on how to Run Free.

Quote:
The Madden dev team has been talking a lot about being able to Run Free in Madden NFL 25, and how the Force Impact system and precision modifier give you the ability to do things you’ve never done before. Many people have been asking for specific examples of what these moves are, and how to execute them. Here’s the skinny on how to go around, over and through any defender who is foolish enough to get between you and the endzone.
Platform: Xbox 360 / PS3

Yep, I'll be playing on "Slow" game speed. Looks nice though.

Good post again, jp.

This part was really good to see finally added, good job Tiburon.

Dives
Sometimes you’re just inches from the first down marker, but a defender is bearing down to stop you short of the line. In those circumstances, the best option is to dive for extra yards. Tapping X/Squarewill execute a basic dive, but adding the precision modifier triggers a precision dive where you’ll reach the ball out and stretch for every inch. Furthermore, if you attempt a precision dive at the goal line, while behind a blocker you’ll execute a precision high dive over the back of your teammate and into the end zone.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see them explaining how the game works a bit. More of this!

Disclaimer:
This is just to add some input and I am not "downing" a good addition to Madden.

When using the modifier to reach out the ball etc.. there should be a correlation to player ratings/ weighed into a risk reward factor.
Meaning a lower rated ball carrier can still do it but risks a much higher chance of a fumble etc..
If that is the case then not only "stick skills" but who you have at your disposal, will tell the tale.

Yes 90% of my input is "ratings need to matter" posts. With that said it's a cool addition.

The animations for the new cuts and jukes look good, BUT once those are done they go right back into that horrid hunchback running animation. So ugly..
