E3 2013: Hands-On with NHL 14

EA Sports was showing a slew of current-gen games at E3 this year, and I got a chance to go hands-on with NHL 14 for the PS3. Even though this current-gen game is being slightly overshadowed by the next-gen horizon of FIFA, Madden, UFC and NCAA, the producers on NHL appeared confident in their product. Is there full control of the stick on defense ala nhl 2k10's defensive right stick. Or is that still tied to a hold of RB and right stick, but really, wasn't done very will in 13 in my opinion. 2k10 still has the best defensive stick control.

Would have liked to hear how the AI was on higher levels. Should we still expect cheats, boosts and last-minute heroics?

If they still have no improvements to BeAGM and better stat tracking, I'll be passing for the first time in years. I've had enough of the same game repackaged.

Maybe you are restricted from EA from saying anything. But I hope pres and announcers have changed for the better. If you are restricted you need to say this in your blog.
