Cam Weber: Madden NFL 25 on Next-Gen Will be Fully Featured

Well it's a little disheartening to see AP and #72 make minimal contact and blow each other up.

With all due respect: I started playing Madden over NFL Gameday and the 2K games because of the play editor (create a play). They took it out at the beginning of current gen and never really brought it back.

Being able to see RG3's pores is great, but I'd trade it in a minute to be able to install my spread option one-back offense and zone dog 3-4 defense.

For God's sake man, bring back the BEST FEATURE IN GAMING.

Not at all. I love EA, and I love Madden. But if you look at everything that 2005 had, it was the best Madden EVER. Formation audibles, Create a play, a super deep franchise. It was the pinnacle. The next year the game went to the current gen and it all fell part.

Create-a-play is one of those features that ads massive re-play value to the game. Hours and hours of designing and practicing your plays. I mean literally days go by without playing a single in-game down while you tinker with it. Like online franchise, I think it's a must-have feature. Give it back and I'll shut up. Happily.

I was expecting a bigger leap in terms of animations, tackling, and overall smoothness. I know this is an early build but I don't have a good feeling about this.

Thank god! I'll get both PS3 and PS4 versions. Too bad I can't transfer my PS3 CF over to PS4 when it comes out... Or can we?! Lol, I'm sure we can't but it would be nice.

I certainly hope that when I get my PS4 for X-Mas with Madden the rosters will stay updated enough. I don't want to have the roster from August current-gen. I know I can update but since you will have to pay for online services starting on PS4 I won't be able to update until about late January (my b-day, when I can afford PS+.)
