Yes this is an improvement, funny thing I actually saw him today at Best Buy in Atlanta.

The ball looks to be the right size, doesn't look too big like he's carrying a loaf of bread and their space between his biceps and the ball, hopefully this means not all ball carriers tote the rock like Tiki Barber use to.
