Anyone know how to turtle so that my star players aren't constantly getting jumped after I lay someone out in a clean hit?

Leave it to EA to fix something and break several other things in the process.

I've yet to see a "free skate" fight.

Edit: I have now. I didn't realize you had to instigate a fight for it. I was always forced into them because I was Kronwalling everyone.

I did, however, get one punched. It was awesome.

I'm not sure that you can turtle this time around, unfortunately. I'm not saying I wouldn't want the option, but so far it's been easy to avoid having star players fight in those situations because I'm always given the option to have someone who is more of a fighter jump in and take the fight. It's happened a couple times now...

You can instigate a fight by shooting after a whistle

I was never a fighter in any of the NHL games, but still loving the change. But..

I cant seem to "dodge" or "dodge & counter". Anyone have success timing it?

Oh heck yeah, I love having the guy swing and miss then lay him out.

I had one where he swung and missed and I one punched him with an uppercut. Twas BA
