It's easy to block the dunk animation where they bring the ball back. There are still quite a few animations, imo, that are automatic two points no matter who is at the rim.

I've lost count how many times I'm on a fast break/have a wide open lane only to get blocked because the player decides to scratch his back with the ball before the dunk.
