This is...pretty boring as a promotion. NBA 2K14 has been on sale many times in the past and can be picked up new right now for $40.

I do hope though that maybe this leads to a MLB 14: The Show Combo pack, or some form of the digital upgrade. But it just doesn't look like that will happen with the game out so soon.

To me it looks like 2k trying to get more mileage out of a title that has been out for a while by hanging on Sony's coattails. I know they used to do this with their own baseball title but it seems odd having the two packaged together.
