When you first launch the app, it will download all of the information that it needs. So all of the stances and pitching motions in the games, and all of the players that have edits assigned to them. The app will display all of those players, and you can search through them, and sort them by team.

When you click on a player, you will be taken to a screen that shows all of the stances or motions that have been added to that player. The equivalent of someone posting a stance for a player in a thread on OS.

You then have the option to assign your own stance to that player, by clicking "Add Stance" or "Add Motion", which will take you to a screen with all of the stances or motions in the game. Thats what contributing means. Its like posting a stance or pitching motion edit in a thread on OS.

The app uses a web connection to send and receive all of this data. It is not linked to the game at all. So you'll have to go in the game and make all of the edits yourself. But its an easier way to collect all of the edits in one place, so you don't have to go searching for them.
