Re: MLB 14 Patch #2 (1.11) released

I don't believe that is an all inclusive list. I believe there are some tweaks to franchise budget increases as well.

Re: MLB 14 Patch #2 (1.11) released

I checked the bug report on MLB The Show Nation and the report: "Cannot manually steal or lead-off with Auto-baserunning" is still as in progress.
The report: "HR Celebration Camera not able to turn off" is closed.

But i also think that some fixes are not reported as fixed in the list. But thanks SCEA for the quick fixes already!

I did a quick sim and the franchise budgets didn't see too much different than pre-patch but I reserve judgement till you look at it.

Stolen bases however look to be fixed. I only saw one guy, Segura, with over 50 and the next highest around 35.

Complete games and Shutouts for pitchers are still way inflated but all the other stats look very good as before.

Re: MLB 14 Patch #2 (1.11) released

From limited testing with all of the CPU sliders jacked the HR celebration camera still showed up. I am not sure the threshold of what is considered a no doubter but even on HRs that weren't double deckers I saw 1 regular defensive view and 3 HR celebration cams.

Auto baserunning you now have manual control of stealing/leading off.

Pickoffs still happen much too often when the base runner takes a 1 extra step lead. I am not picking guys off with default no leads but that 1 extra step lead is almost a guaranteed pickoff if you just keep throwing over. There is a little risk in throwing it in the stands but more often you get the out. I still think that guys with high speed should be harder to pickoff. I know they said they were not going to touch this until next year. I am just going to use the slow throw double tap if I want to hold a runner without wanting a pickoff, and I just won't use the extra step lead on my end.

Maybe, changes weren't made? Did you check to see what the percentage increases were for each team at the end of the year?

I had a couple things I hope to have changed.

On the animation of a home run that just goes foul and the batter is waiving it fair can it one time actually be a fair ball??

Also on collisions at the plate I'd like to see once where the catcher drops the ball
