The Golf Club Video - Creating Surfaces Tutorial: Part 1 & 2

HB Studios has released another video from The Golf Club. This is part 1 of their creating surfaces tutorial, from their Greg Norman course designer.

Quote:
This powerful tool enables the user to add general terrain, heavy rough, light rough, fairways and greens anywhere in the editable environment. In the process of creating this tool we also made some other useful enhancements such as being able to edit generated bunkers and create isolated tees. Part One demonstrates how you can add the surfaces to create a custom fairway path.

UPDATE: Video #2 is online as well.

This tutorial video for The Golf Club's Greg Norman Course Designer demonstrates a fantastic new feature - creating surfaces. This powerful tool enables the user to add general terrain, heavy rough, light rough, fairways and greens anywhere in the editable environment. In the process of creating this tool we also made some other useful enhancements such as being able to edit generated bunkers and create isolated tees. Part Two demonstrates how this feature enables you to have general terrain between tee and green.

This is going to go a long way towards getting rid of the "generic" look that finds its way into most of TGC courses! I understand that part two of this video will be up later today.
