This is shaping up to be the GREATEST customizable game EVER!

My only concern is how much I'm actually going to be playing the courses rather than creating them.

My guess is they're willing to go after less of a profit margin in order to garner interest. I seriously doubt any future iteration of the game would continue to come with that same price.

Remember, golf games and fans are really in a niche market.
Also its only having a digital release as of now.

Most of the money will go directly to them. I think by supporting this game you will create incentive for more indie developers to chase a AAA style Sim in other sports titles.

There was an arcade title on 360 called Avatar Golf that had a course designer. I spent a lot of hours sketching out ideas on paper and then implementing them into the game. The Golf Club seems a lot more in depth than that was, so I'm really excited to try it out.

I remember that game, never played it.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the option to make a Pitch-n-putt type courses like the Par 3 Masters course in the other golf game.

Really excited...

I might not understand fully by pitch-n-putt type courses, but you can make a par 3 only course like Tiger Woods had.

Whoa, that just reminded me...
We have an 18 hole natural grass putting course. Definitely making that.
(my favorite hole is a 200+ ft par 4, pretty good dogleg right to left complete with bunker on the left side if you try to cut the corner lol)

Yeah, they call them that here in the PA area.
