Had the PS4 version for about a week now, and I love it. This is definitely a sim racer.

Does anybody know if there will be a digital version of this?

Anyone know if the CPU makes mistakes when they drive, like getting into wrecks and mechanical failures?

Yes, it will be available this evening when the PSN store updates on PS4.

AI is somewhat a disappointment as at times they just drive all over the place with little sense hopefully it'll be polished eventually.

I haven't been able to play yet, however I watched a bit on twitch last night before deciding to buy. The guy was on PS4 - he was doing a little more arcade with no damage, so I don't know about mechanical failures. But I did see CPU drivers veering off the track a few times, one got loose and smacked into another car sending it off course. If damage were on, I would assume that would be enough to cause a wreck with more than minor body damage.
