Re: Madden NFL 16 First Full Game

*** The wr on the break away, not so much. But that rb was shedding tackles with questionable ease.

"ive seen a bunch of arm tackles where guys are just running through" - person playing

*** Seems like swerving while running has been removed. Nice.

*** An outside backer attacked an outside zone run w/o being set to blitz, wouldnt have happened in Madden 15

*** Eli with the over-throws.

*** Man defense looks useful. A welcomed change.

*** Cpu shredded zones.

*** Super speed spin has been toned down

*** Very nice and varied passing attack from the cpu

*** on runs D-linemen dont seem to be steering blocks or getting off of blocks with the urgency they should.

loved the way the guy played. gave me a good example of how successful that style could be, and to my delight, not very. Seeing someone doing their best to mimic the NFL isnt a proper stress test to get much info from.

Re: Madden NFL 16 Video - Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants

Many, many things I like but will note negatives that hopefully devs take a look at tuning before release.

1) No breakdown of would be tacklers, which voids elusiveness from being seen by AI and Hum ball carriers.

2) Increase break tackle tenacity by AI RB's. No fight for additional yardage and seem to concede to the tackle too easily.

3) Increase AI tackle avoidance utilizing some type of move. AI ball carriers behave as though they're 250lb runners. "Put some wiggle in it"!!!

4) Again, there should be guys on the ground after smashing into each other on Special Teams Returns. No inside creases/holes form making every run straight lined to the outside.
A crackback block to spring the returner would be welcomed.

5) AI players are still performing Jedi awareness when their backs are to the play, putting them in position to enter tackles.

This is due to the weight applied to the "Play Recognition" rating.
Either tune the weight or lower the Play Rec rating to generate low similar to AWR rating in M15 (25-50).

6) **As DB's, we're taught to "Not" look in the backfield in man coverage. When you do, you're beat. This is especially true at the NFL level were double moves are a common aspect of many routes to get open.
Yet, every DB is running stride for stride with the WR while looking back at the QB the entire play.

This or is able to back pedal a keep up with forward running players well beyond 10 yrds.

Please tune defensive player speeds to be reduced significantly when this happens or cause def players to turn and "run" faster.

7) AI QB needs to step up into the pocket as appossed to bouncing in one spot 10 yrds from the snap.
Progress within the formed pocket into a Throwing Lane or scramble.

8) Deep outside throws are inaccurate, but middle field passes are not tuned in similar fashion.
Middle field throws are only incomplete due to dropped/broken-up passes.
Especially seen dealing RB's out of the backfield.
No over/under throws to them. Every pass goes to their hands.

Lots of good improvements to gameplay, but some things that need attention to make it the more better.

Or just give us rating editing ability inside of CFM. lol

Good stuff so far, but don't start throwing high fives around just yet!!!

Finally defensive backs actually tries to break up pass plays. Qb overthrows. Could the sack issue be fixed this year? The gang tackles and the tackles in general looked better.

That breakaway run at around 7:58 tho.... YES! I am old school and like to ground and pound it. Oh and the passing looks good too

I'm liking how the CPU Mariota was running, both up the middle and outside. He was also utilizing jukes and spins, not a huge sample size but an improvement for sure.
