EA Sports UFC 2 Video - Career Mode & Online Championships

I'll definitely give the Career Mode a try, but it seems to be no different to any boxing/MMA career mode we've played over the past 20 years.
Oh how I long for a company to adopt Victorious Boxers 2 career mode elements.

Looking forward to hearing more about Event Mode.

Agreed. Until this feature is implemented Career Mode remains far too limited.

That's not Career mode though...there is a good chance that it will never happen in a Career mode. Career mode focuses on a single fighter and his/her career in UFC.

There wasn't a whole lot to get excited about as far as career mode goes in that video but I'm not sure what they can add that hasn't already been done in a MMA career mode. I like that you'll have to choose risk and reward in how hard you train hopefully the same thing will be applied to the CPU fights you come up against.

I'm definitely looking forward to the day we can run our own UFC Universe though.

Yes! Just make it where we can play any fight and we don't have to do any type of mini-games if we don't want. Also add an automatic progression/regression system and we would have the beginning of a Universe Mode.

I'm pretty sure they said earlier on that once you pass a mini game you can sim it with that grade in lieu of replaying it each time if you wish. This was an old feature in EA MMA.

Does that character get saved like it did in UFC Undisputed 3 once you complete career mode? I remember doing this with a few fighters in that game.
