MLB The Show's Franchise mode is far from bad, but it's also not close to the best in our genre. There are several items baseball fans have been clamoring for -- let's break some of these down in a short video.

Some of this stuff is just unnecessary. The game doesn't need more realism. It needs to get back to finding a fair balance of FUN and realism. The Show as lost some of the fun factor in its quest to be the best simulation of a sport. Just my opinion.

Couldn't agree more about the bullpen logic. I'm still often seeing the CPU bring in a lefties to face my best right handed batters and vice versa.

I disagree. Give me the most realistic approach to building a baseball franchise and make me work to build a good team. But that's my opinion and I'd die to get contracts and roster building that makes you think.

Ya gonna have to disagree with you on that one......sim is what most people want on here, realism is what makes the game fun to me
