My heart stopped for a moment seeing the headline... good to hear The Show team is still going strong though!

I guess few jobs are stable or long-term these days. Good luck to those who will be seeking new opportunities!

This stinks on multi-levels , majorly for those laid off and their families , and minorly for those who enjoy the Show and want to see further enhancements . We may have to be content with a 'roster update' for 17 until Sony can get their house in order and work on a better business model . I hope this is just a minor bump in the road and Sony can get back to a full compliment of personnel and keep the Show evolving into a deeper baseball experience .

Sympathies to everyone that got the bad news today at Sony. Only silver lining in this news is at least we at least don't lose the best sports game on the market. In my opinion at least.

Glad MLBTS staff is safe, but feel bad for those who lost their jobs. Very difficult times we've been living in these last several years. Hopefully things improve for our citizens here in the US very soon, as well as the rest of the world for that matter.

Sony (the company) does need to get its house in order. They probably kiss the ground the PS is made because it's been one of their few growth drivers as they suck pretty much elsewhere.

Hopefully, they will find a way to bring those employees back later.

It also means The Show probably still sells well enough to justify whatever is being spend on that manpower and equipment, which is a good sign to the health of the series, imo.
