NHL 17 Roster Update Available Now

Nicely done EA! Pretty quick this year compared to the past isn't it? Feels like it is anyways. To me, this is the most important update since it gets those rookies in there. Time to fire up my franchise mode and actually get into this game now.

Question - I've seen you on a couple live streams playing the game. I'm interested in your impression of this year's game and what changes you see from last year's version.

Huge fan of the Full Sim setting. Puck physics are different, you can attack offense in different ways (last year you couldn't), dumping the puck matters (both to counter the trap and to manage stamina).

Net battles change the game for me (more specially the extended stick lifts now).

Best hockey game that I can remember (with the caveat that I play offline only in default Full Sim)

Thanks for the reply. What exactly is full sim? Is it coach mode or do you control the players?
