Nice job. Agree with it all, except like sniper said, RB6 is the best NSG, easily. I've logged more hours on that game then any game in a long time, without even touching single player.

Re: 2006 Operation Sports Year End Awards

I'm almost tempted to go and pick up a PS2 to give MLB The Show a spin. Then again, they actually had Wii's at Best Buy yesterday

Given that this is the last year it likely would have applied, I would have liked to have seen a little more content on the variety of platforms out there, like Best of Old Gen, Best of New, but this was a nifty enough read

I wonder if this wouldn't be a good time, now that even OS is mostly reviewing only Next Gen titles by and large, to do a "Best of the Last Gen" in all sport catagories. I'm not one who believes that the latest versions of all games is necessarily the greatest and this might be the time where we consider what the PS2 and plain ol' Xbox have wrought as sporting legacies. It'd be interesting to see where the staff here puts that volume of games in perspective and where the good membership evaluates that portfolio as well

Have fun..................

What I think I think:
• Y'know, I've never played less NBA 2K than I did with NBA 2K12
• Sports VG titles were REALLY disappointing in 2011-12
• Thank Heaven for ME3 and Arkham City -- saved my winter

That was all Clay, I had nothing to do with it. I just set up the OS members polls.

I know that, but it took both you guys to get this done. One guy worked on the front end of things while the other on the back end.

I'm pretty sure these and the things EG set up are different.

These are the staff awards, and EG's polls were for the members awards. Think that is what he was saying

Exactly. Those awards are the staff awards.

Re: 2006 Operation Sports Year End Awards

I thought the biggest disappointment would have been NBA Live 07 and it's really sad that the best game of the year is only available on the PS2 (I own an Xbox) Personally, I still play MVP 05 on the PC with the help of MVPMods and I can't believe "The Show" could be that much better.
