EA SPORTS Expanding Researching Community

EA SPORTS Canada is seeking hardcore football fans (the FIFA kind, not the NFL kind) to help them create the most realistic soccer title ever - and they're looking to the readers of Operation Sports for help!

This is a unique opportunity to shape one of the most popular titles in the gaming world, and share your knowledge and love for the game.

*** (EA's text follows)

EA SPORTS is expanding our football data and reference research community and need people who have the expertise and dedication to edit and collect data/reference material related to their favorite club.

Do you feel you know more about your team than your club’s manager? Could you tell your mates how many games your center played last season and which foot he prefers to hit the ball with? Are you constantly keeping track of the transfers and youth prospects at your club? If you fit this description then please keep reading.

Not only do you have to have a football brain, but you must also have data editing skills. Experience with editing data for football video games will go a long way to ensuring you understand the data we need collected.

Now, if you’re still reading and are interested in this project, please take the time to fill out the online registration form at: www.eafootballtalentscout.com.

EA SPORTS will be reading submissions and getting in contact with the people we feel best suit the projects on offer. Please note you must be 18 years or older to be eligible to participate.

Too bad they won't do this for Madden.

They should really do this for NBA Live.

Man I wish enough people would stop buying all their games so that they would have an 'Expanding Research Community' for all their games.

Re: EA SPORTS Expanding Researching Community

I can only imagine how much better Madden, NBA Live, March Madness, and other EA Sports games COULD be if they took this same approach and then actually used the input. Maybe one day.

Re: EA SPORTS Expanding Researching Community

What a joke !!!
That's a new way of saying 'We need help to beat Pro Evolution Soccer !!!'

Next step will probably be to ask us to develop their game.

With the 2k series having the football back, and with Pro Evolution Soccer, who need EA ? Not me anymore.

Re: EA SPORTS Expanding Researching Community

I agree that this coul be done for NCAA games also, but not for NBA or NFL game, their is only 30 teams in those leagues. They should handle that easily.

Soccer is a lot more tricky as there are hundreds of teams.
