Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

I started a franchise with Jays. I'm gonna play one and sim 5 so I'm always using a new pitcher when I play.

I only played one game tonight and it was great. Opening day against Cleveland. Won it 4-3 in 10 inning.

Bautista didn't get a hit the whole game then got a walk off HR in bottom of 10th.

Kicked off franchise with 6-0 record

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

I do a co-op franchise with my little brother, playing everygame and we noticed that this year your players lose a ton of attribute points after simming spring training. Is it because we are the YANKEES and half their team are old men? Or is this happening to every team?

We tweaked it and put the numbers back up so that it's tolerable but it might be pretty annoying if we have to keep an eye on it after every game.

For example, Mariano River went from like a 94 down to 70+ after the spring.

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

We had a big 2-1 to open the 2013 season at Yankee stadium.

Lester was excellent pitching 6.2 innings of 1 run ball only allowing 4 hits with 4 k's.

We actually had no RBI's in the game as I scored on a wild pitch and also scored on a throwing error on the catcher Cervelli.

Hanrahan had a clean 9th inning for his first save in a Red Sox Uniform.

Game 2 pits Ryan Dempster against Hiroki Kuroda. #RedSoxNation

**I play on All-Star for every part of the game (batting, pitching, and fielding). I use timing hitting with guess pitch on and with NO feedback. I choose to use the meter for pitching and the regular buttons for hitting. Gamertag is Mike10693. Add me and hit me up for an online game. More Franchise updates to come...

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

Cleveland Indians -

Spring Training started with a big win for the Tribe and ended with a thud from our lackluster pitching. Currently trying to make a few trades to bring some youth into the pitching rotation as well as cutting loose some questionable signings (IE - Jason Giambi).

The nice surprise was Chris Perez actually getting 9 Saves during the Spring. He is trying to earn a hefty pay day after this season.

Michael Brantly went off during the Spring with a .343 AVG and 4 HRs.

Some players that are in desperate times are Ben Francisco (.048 AVG) and Lou Marson (.167 AVG). Marson may be safe but Francisco is most likely gone.

Pitching Rotation Set
1 - Masterson
2 - Matsuzaka
3 - Myers
4 - McAllister
5 - Tomlin

Starting Lineup
1 - Bourn (CF)
2 - Brantley (LF)
3 - Swisher (1B)
4 - Santana (C)
5 - Kipnis (2B)
6 - Chisenhall (3B) *Hoping for a breakout season from him.
7 - Cabrera (SS)
8 - Reynolds (DH) *If he doesn't pick it up fast he could be gone.
9 - Stubbs (RF)
