Which USB storage device do you want to use?

I get to this screen under manage files and after clicking import files, but my USB drive does not appear on the screen, just blank. I have checked and the USB drive is being recognized by the basic PS4 Media Player so I know it is plugged in properly.

I am using a FAT 32 USB and the only files on it are from the SOTS Starter Pack.

Has anyone experienced this and can hopefully provide me with the fix, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

do you have all the mp3s placed into a folder called Music? all the mp3s need to be right into the folder music and not in any other folder within the music folder either.

Same. Anyone know how to make the flash drive work? It's not any of the issues proffered as solutions thus far.

Make sure Media Player is closed then try again.

                      try this:
Make sure media player is closed(and everything else just to be safe). close and restart the show. once the show is restarted go back to the sounds of the show area. plug in your usb thumb drive. click on manage files, import music, and see if it works.

oh yeah, remove your thumb drive after closing the show and plug in before managing music files

does it have to specifically be a thumb drive? i have an external drive, still not being recognized.

I'm not sure, luckily thumb drives are cheap these days. I bought one at target for 6 bucks the other day just for sounds of the show since i didn't have a hard drive or thumb drive. you might be able to use a usb cable and import files straight from a computer.
